With the door lock (deadbolt) locked (if there is a dual locking device, the dual locking device is also locked), set it in the position it is in use in the tester, raise the temperature from room temperature to 270°C within 1 hour and hold it for 10 minutes, then take it out immediately. In the case of a temperature sensor type, it must be open, and in the case of a heat-resistant type, it must be able to be opened from the inside.

During the test, a 6mm crack gauge should be applied to all openings that occur on the non-heated surface, except for the threshold, and the gauge should not move more than 150mm in length through the specimen.
A 25mm crack gauge should be applied to all openings that occur on the non-heated surface during the test, and the gauge should not penetrate the specimen.
During the test, there should be no flame generation lasting more than 10 seconds on the non-heated surface.
